Michigan MIAs from the Vietnam War with October incident dates

Good afternoon, everyone. It's good to be reminded of the names and profiles behind the statistics when we think of the unreturned veterans of the Vietnam War. 48 of the 1,578 still unreturned are from Michigan; 8 of them went missing on dates in October. An additional unreturned veteran of the Vietnam War with Pennsylvania as his home of record is on the list as well. His sister and brother-in-law live in southeast Michigan and are members of the POW Committee of Michigan. We are honored to remember him and share his DPAA profile as well. Here are the eight plus one with links to their Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) service member profiles: 10-01-1965 - U.S. Air Force MAJ Martin John Massucci, Royal Oak, MI: https://dpaa-mil.sites.crmforce.mil/dpaaProfile?id=a0Jt0000000KZg2EAG 10-02-1964 - U.S. Air Force CAPT Kenneth Earl Walker, Lansing, MI: https://dpaa-mil.sites.crmforce.mil/dpaaProfile?id=a0Jt0000000KYeCEAW 10-06-72 - U.S. Marine Corps CW2 Bruce Edward Boltze, Flint, MI: https://dpaa-mil.sites.crmforce.mil/dpaaProfile?id=a0Jt00000001UZ6EAM 10-18-1966 - U.S. Air Force CMSGT Robert LaVerne Hill, Detroit, MI: https://dpaa-mil.sites.crmforce.mil/dpaaProfile?id=a0Jt0000000KZzUEAW 10-19-1965 - U.S. Navy LCDR John Bowers Worcester, Big Rapids, MI: https://dpaa-mil.sites.crmforce.mil/dpaaProfile?id=a0Jt0000000KZTXEA4 10-24-1968 - U.S. Air Force COL George Edward Tyler, Royal Oak, MI: https://dpaa-mil.sites.crmforce.mil/dpaaProfile?id=a0Jt0000000BTPwEAO 10-28-1968 - U.S. Air Force CAPT William Harry Stroven, Fremont, MI: https://dpaa-mil.sites.crmforce.mil/dpaaProfile?id=a0Jt0000000KYdnEAG 10-31-1969 - U.S. Army SSG Dennis Lee Gauthier, Rochester, MI: https://dpaa-mil.sites.crmforce.mil/dpaaProfile?id=a0Jt00000001UGVEA2 10-22-1965 - U.S. Air Force 1LT James Arthur McEwen, Washington, PA: https://dpaa-mil.sites.crmforce.mil/dpaaProfile?id=a0Jt0000000KYCCEA4 Please share this information with others who may have an interest in the subject matter.
