Raising American Heroes Organization

Active Duty and Military Family Support

When a member of a family serves in the military, the whole family serves as well. We hope to provide resources for both the active duty servicemember and their family in their journey to serve their country.

Care Packages

With the generosity of the community, our members and others; we are able to send care packages to the troops in need. These include special packages at the holidays to send love and reminders of home as well as packages to fulfill specific needs of deployed troops.

The need is always great and support is appreciated.

Our Commitment Never Wavers

The Red Cross helps members of the military, veterans and their families prepare for, cope with, and respond to, the challenges of military service.

The Red Cross has served more than 1 million military families since 9/11:

  • Volunteers provide home comforts and critical services on bases and in military hospitals around the world.
  • We support military families during deployments and emergencies
  • We continue serving our nation’s veterans after their service ends

REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the Raising American Heroes Organization (MI0231)'s Wreaths Across America Page.

On December 17, 2022 at 12:00 pm, Raising American Heroes Organization (MI0231) will be helping Resurrection Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

The Enlisted Heritage House is created to preserve, honor, and display the rich history of the Enlisted Corps who have served at Selfridge; a home, with a purposefully positive atmosphere where military members, veterans and their families can gather to build camaraderie, celebrate country, unit and personal accomplishments and encourage family connections; a facility where organizations, councils and personnel can meet to improve morale, foster future leaders, nurture careers, strategize missions and plan for the future of Selfridge Enlisted, the backbone of our military.Social and professional organization based on Selfridge Air National Guard Base to support and assist the families of the base.
